Artist & Vision Statements
Vision Statement
I find art to be an invitation for people to reach out and experience the lives around them, the feelings and emotions that carry others through the day. I want to create work that evokes the emotions of people to feel, and experience what I felt in the process of making the piece. By using multitudes of different medias, I want to reach my audience and experiment with the use of psychology alongside art.
Artist Statement
I believe that creating art is a naturalistic and beautiful process, and in that creation, using a multitude of medias can provide any viewers with visually interesting and thought provoking pieces. A lot of my work is centralized with the human figure and with interest in high contrast, with charcoal and acrylic, as well as some experimental work with natural medias such as chlorophyll and tea. I invite the viewers of my artwork to interpret the pieces how they want, and how the piece may appeal to them.
